BAP Acoustics worked with Innergex Renewable Energy to come up with noise control recommendations, firstly to reduce the level of noise transmitted from the power house to the control room, and secondly to mitigate noise transmission to the local community.

The principal source affecting the community was noise associated with the tail race portals. We worked with Innergex to design a flexible noise curtain solution to mitigate noise escape from the portals.
